Provider of solutions for application acceleration, load balancing and application delivery control technology,  jetNEXUS, was recently recognized by Microsoft (News - Alert) as meeting its requirements to load balance Microsoft Lync 2010. As such, the jetNEXUS Accelerating Load Balancer Extreme (ALB-X) solution had been approved for use with Microsoft Lync Server on hardware and virtual platforms.

It is increasingly important that Microsoft Lync run seamlessly with other solutions as it is both widely deployed and critical to businesses around the world. This means that jetNEXUS' ALB-X solution has been thoroughly tested with Microsoft Lync 2010 and has been demonstrated as capable of load balancing Microsoft Lync Servers from setup and integration through to ongoing support.

In other words, jetNEXUS load balancers help to guarantee service availability for uninterrupted access to Microsoft Lync 2010.

Greg Howett, CEO of jetNEXUS  stated that, "Microsoft Lync represents the next generation of unified communication platforms, enabling clients to collaborate via instant messaging, audio and video calls and web conferences. jetNEXUS has developed the ALB-X with Microsoft’s requirements in mind, to improve the performance, scalability, reliability and manageability of Lync traffic.”

He went on to add that clients can be up and running in less than two minutes using ALB-X with Microsoft Lync with the help of jetPACK configuration templates. These templates come pre-configured and fully tuned with all of the Lync-specific settings necessary for a client to implement optimized service delivery, and are na new addition to its portfolio as they were released not even a month ago at the end of December.

As with such other critical elements in enterprise networks such as Patton’s (News - Alert) SmartNode solutions that are also Microsoft Lync certified, the jetNEXUS certification demonstrates the focus by Microsoft and those who can add value to Lync of going through the rigors of certification so customers can have peace of mind when it comes to seamless operation and high performance.
