Ensim Corporation Debuts Lync Manager 2013

The new Ensim (News - Alert) Lync Manager 2013 from Ensim, a provider of automation and orchestration solutions, lets enterprise and service provider users access the enhanced unified communications features of Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync 2013.

The Lync Manager allows users to leverage the Ensim Automation Suite platform completely and delivers them an extensive set of features to manage the entire user life cycle such as ordering, activation, usage, rating, and billing/charge back/show back of Microsoft Lync accounts. Users now have the ability to acquire complete control over the entire messaging and unified communications environment.

According to Ensim, the Lync Manager provides provisioning and operations management automation, policy control and orchestration of administrative, operational and self-service activities for Microsoft Lync.

Automated and template based creation, maintenance and termination of Lync Accounts, enforcement and management of Lync policies across one or more accounts, definable business and custom logic for selection of voice/DID numbers, customization of the SIP URI, user self-service are some of the features built into the Lync Manager.

The solution’s benefits are: simple policy enforcement for single/multiple users; easily plug into custom logic for selection of the voice/DID number; workflow hooks to third party applications to invoke calls; process automation to disable or delete Lync accounts based on usage rules; detailed logging and reporting for Audit and Compliance; integrated user provisioning with Microsoft Exchange; and more.
